The genesis of Sama
In the heart of the bustling tech world, two visionary women, Myra and Caitlin, came together with a shared dream.
Myra, a lawyer and investor, had identified the need in organizations to build resilience and an ownership mindset for teams to be truly engaged; and Caitlin, a seasoned executive coach and talent expert, experienced how difficult it was to roll out incredible development support, at times of need.
This realization marked the birth of Sama – a platform that provides the right to high-quality, tailored development opportunities to empower individuals at all levels.
They believe this is the only way to solve deep-rooted challenges such as innovation, employee engagement, inclusion, and trust.
Sama is a Sanskrit word that means equality, fairness, tranquillity, and peacefulness of the mind. For us, it means approaching life situations and goals with openness, clarity, and the ability to create the life that we want.
